Adelaide is already a wonderful city in which to live, work, learn and visit. Smart, new technology offers the potential to improve our experience with the city. Technology will also allow us to better manage our resources and natural environment.
In order to engage the people of Adelaide in a conversation about smart cities, we’re proud to showcase Connected Adelaide. Connected Adelaide is a LEGO model with working technology that demonstrates Adelaide as a smart city, including:
Connected Adelaide has been led by Buddy, built by Southern Bricks Lego User Group with technology created by the University of Adelaide and has been supported by the following organisations: Microsoft and the Office for Design and Architecture.

Buddy is really proud to be headquartered here in Adelaide. Connected Adelaide was an exciting project to be able to support locally, with contributions from a range of businesses and communities. At Buddy, we’re inspired by the positive impact that technology continues to have in people’s lives and this is a fun way to explain to people how technology will transform our cities in the future
